Million Dollar Deep Sea Fishing Lure, No Big Fish Tale!
MacDaddy's Fishing Lures, manufacturers of what you might say is 'not your daddy's fishing tackle,' has just unveiled its newest creation - a one million dollar, limited edition, deep sea fishing lure.
The latest in MacDaddy's daring line of fishing tackle, the Million Dollar Lure was designed by company founder, fishing enthusiast, and 28-year veteran jewelry designer Mac McBurney. The limited edition piece is manufactured by Uneek Fine Jewelry Collection and is restricted to a numbered production quantity of 25 pieces worldwide.
Crafted with just over three pounds of 14 karat and 18 karat gold, as well as platinum, and encrusted with 100 carats of diamonds and rubies (comprising 4,753 stones in all), this exceptional big game fishing lure is over 12 inches in length. The lure is styled after the winning lure used at last year's Annual Black & Blue Bisbee's Fishing Tournament, a world-class game fishing tourney, held in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The slightly higher-end MacDaddy's version, just off the diamond setter's bench, is scheduled to be fished in this year's tournament to be held in Cabo from October 24-26.
Of course, if you're going fishing with this lure, you'll most likely need someplace safe to keep it until it's time to cast for your quarry. And, MacDaddy's, whose motto is "We put the bling on your string!" has just the place. The Million-Dollar Tackle Box. Described as "the ultimate luxury item for the man who has everything," this elegant tackle box includes a variety of solid gold and gemstones lures, solid gold and diamond lures, jeweled flies, as well as an assortment of precious metal and gemstone salt water lures, all housed in a handcrafted tackle box of fine exotic hardwoods.
In addition, MacDaddy's offers a full line of exclusive gold and diamond fishing lures and flies, each one truly a work of art. Many are beautiful enough to be worn as an elegant piece of jewelry, yet durable enough to catch world-class fish. Now, that's no big fish tale!

20 Million Wedding Cake
If diamonds are a girl’s best friend, then a wedding caked studded with the sparklers is undoubtedly a bride’s best friend. We wouldn’t recommend eating a piece of this cake though, even though it’s billed as the most expensive wedding cake in the world, diamonds are not known to be friendly on the stomach.
The extravagant $20 million diamond-studded wedding cake, created by Mimi So Jewelers and cake designer Nahid La Patisserie Artistique, is the star attraction of the Luxury Brands Bridal Show taking place in Beverly Hills.
"Where else would you debut a $20 million wedding cake but on Rodeo Drive?" said show organizer Ilona Sherman.
The cake is protected by a team of uniformed security guards at all times, she said. And there's no way it will ever be eaten.
